“I was locked away in old wars, I was lost in old regret.
You came to me, held my hands and you whispered.
I will take care of you,
erase the pain of yesterday.
I told you. Beautiful Brigid, my dearest beautiful Brigid.
Some people cannot be saved.
You told me. Love can save us, and love can make us brave again.” -
